Healthy Pizza?

In news that is sure to excite college students everywhere, a team of Scottish scientists announced the development of a pizza that is healthy enough to eat at every meal.

Pizza is already the mathematically perfect food, but now it may be a prime source of nutrition, as well.

Professor Mike Lean of Glasgow University and businessman Donnie Maclean worked with a team to produce the pizza which contains 30% of the recommended daily vitamins and minerals for an adult and one-third of the recommended calories, protein, and carbohydrates.

To reach the right nutritional value, the developers incorporated seaweed as a way of reducing the salt level and red pepper to increase the vitamin C.

The pizza is marketed and sold through Eat Balanced. They also have their sights set on other items that are traditionally known as junk food, hoping to find additional healthy alternatives.
