It goes without saying that pizza is the perfect food for almost every occasion. Did you know it is even the perfect food for math class?
The formula for determining the volume of a cylinder is π x radius2 x height.
A pizza is, essentially, a cylinder. If you want to figure out the volume of pizza, assign the variable “Z” to the radius and the variable “A” to the thickness of the crust (the height). When you do that, the formula becomes:
Pi x Z x Z x A
Side note: It also goes without saying that the beauty of this fact will be ruined by the presence of pineapple or little fish on that otherwise-perfect food.
